Report Automation for Health Claims Adjudication
The manual process for preparing reports involved normalizing certificate lengths and validating certificates against an SQL eligibility table. This process was time-consuming and prone to human error. The team needed a more efficient, automated way to handle these tasks and produce accurate reports.
I wrote a Python script that automates the entire process, from certificate validation against an SQL eligibility table to formatting data and generating Excel reports. This has streamlined reporting, saving time and reducing errors, with each run appending results to a master file for easy tracking.
